How to Get Rid Of Acne: Why Is It So Hard?
Acne is actually known by it's medical term...Acne Vulgaris. And can be the single worst depression causing skin factor. Period.
This is a question that is asked by teens to adults the world over, from the first time you see the dreaded acne inflammation, it can haunt you for the rest of your life. Do you struggle with acne? Want to know how to get rid of acne?
In my quest for a miracle “cure” I unearthed various creams, pills, lotions, and more that claimed to get rid of my acne for me. Most of them just prolonged my pain and emotional suffering. All of these combined without the proper knowledge of acne, probably makes the problem worse. It is so easy to become acne-free once you know how. Most of what you can find will only work in the short term, it takes a consistent plan of action to stay on top of your acne inflamamation. Once you realise that the cause of your acne come from your actions you will soon come to see them and stop them before you do it again.
Certain things you do can make your problem worse, acne is painful, embarrasing and can make you feel worthless, so it is up to you to take action on it, here are a few starter tips to get you going:
Acne Prevention Tip #1 : Don’t allow your hands on your face! Propionibacterium acnes (the bacteria that causes breakouts) is a normal resident of your skin; it doesn't lead to acne until it gets trapped inside the hair follicle. Excessive touching of your face, including rubbing or even resting your chin in your hands, can drive bacteria into your pores — where it can begin its dirtywork.
Acne Prevention Tip #2 :
After exercise or work out, you must wash off. When you exercise, your movement generates heat; clothing and equipment cause friction. Until you shower off, heat and moisture are trapped against your skin, creating an ideal breeding ground for the spread of bacteria. So whenever you can, shower off immediately after exercising.
Acne Prevention Tip #3 :
Find a regimen and stick with it. Most cases of mild acne can be improved with "over-the-counter" products, or products that don't require a prescription from your doctor. There is a wide range of treatments available, and there’s a good chance one of them will work for you. If you start treatment before your acne gets severe, you’ll have a better chance of avoiding physical and emotional problems down the road.
